Hello! My name is Andrew Watson and I am Inferior Planet Games, a one-man hobbyist studio that's fairly new to the game development scene.
The largest project I'm currently working on is Millikan's Reach, a sort of stripped-back space trader/shooter that I hope to release sometime in the next year. More info on that project can be found below!
My taste in videogames tends very strongly towards the space-related, and I'd like to think I can make fun space games myself. I'm not boxing myself into that - I've got some really fun ideas that aren't space games - but the two projects that currently have my attention are both about spaceships.
I also really like having games with me on my phone, so I'm primarily focused on mobile development. Of course, porting to iOS has certain requirements that I can't easily fulfill at this time, and not everyone has an android phone - so there will usually be a PC port as well.
Game design has become one of my favorite hobbies, so I'm planning to participate in a few game jams here on Itch.io - So far, I've completed Sinistroid, a weird little arcade game where you have a spaceship that can only turn left.
Set in a war-torn star system on the fringes of civilized space, Millikan's Reach is a spectacular open-world space sim built in the image of classics like Freelancer or Elite. My current most ambitious project, currently partway through its beta phase.
