Early Access Build 1.05 - I'm not dead!
Hello all! It's certainly been a while. This last year-or-so has been incredibly busy for me, mainly real-life stuff that's kept me away from game dev, but I've been able to put together a release for you all. Not one as big on content as I'm sure you'd like, but at least I'm not dead! Also, I've included a set of Steam Grid images so that any of you running the PC build as a non-steam game can spiff up your library.
NPC Ships
I've added the ability for NPCs to pilot the Zulfiqar and the Omicron. I've also added support for NPC pulse lasers, so there's a couple of fun new ways for other ships to kill you - so you may need to approach some fights just a teensy bit differently!
Bloom
I've also played around with some post-processing effects - the game now implements a fairly fast bloom shader. I've also added an option in the settings menu for disabling it if you don't like it or if it gives you any performance issues.

- New NPC weapons: security forces can now wield pulse lasers
- NPCs can now pilot the Zulfiqar and the Omicron
- Shield generators now make a sound when they go down, reboot, or take damage
Balancing
- Approximately doubled all scattergun prices
- Slightly reduced the price of some expensive ships
- NPC accuracy with hitscan weapons has been reduced
Other
- Bloom shader added
- Fixed some issues with the map
- Capital ships at Surtr Shipyard now spawn correctly
- Fixed hardpoint locator debug object being visible on player Eagles
- Fixed NPC Jackal engine trails not disappearing when they're supposed to on death
- Station descriptions should avoid drawing on top of each other now
- PC keybindings are now shown next to their relevant UI element
